ACF Chefs Association of Arizona

Dear Members,

In April, the ACFAZ will be representing Arizona at the ACF Western Regional Conference in Seattle, Washington, from April 4-7. Our junior competition team will be competing for the Western Regional Title and several members have informed me that they will also be attending the conference for educational and networking purposes. We are excited to have such a great presence in Seattle.

This year, the Easter Holiday falls on Sunday, April 12, and we are participating in the Scottsdale Culinary Festival beginning the following Saturday, April 18. Due to the timing required for many of our members to prepare for Easter and for us to properly prepare for the Festival, we will not be having a General meeting in April. We sincerely hope to have a large presence and many member volunteers at the Festival. Opportunities are available at our Booth as well as inside the Cooks and Corks VIP venue. Our next general meeting, following our Seafood in the Sonoran event at the MacDonald Ranch on March 9, will be at Grayhawk Golf Club on Monday, May 4, in Scottsdale. This event will feature a sit-down meal and expert chef presentation by Rational and Chef Alan Zeman. James Gerard Foods, Willie Itule, and Wildflower Bread will provide additional tastings and education.

I look forward to seeing many of you at our next event and appreciate your continued support and participation within our chapter.
